Our very own VET and parent coach is raising money for OUR Club!

Here is a short piece from Ray Tierney, who is giving up his weekend to walk to Brighton! All to raise funds for the club via
Ray Tierney’s JustGiving Page

As a member of our vibrant local rugby community, I’m excited to share some news with you. To help raise some funds to enhance the facilities at BRFC I'm going on a walk. This walk will be a 50 miler to Brighton staying in Coulsdon on Saturday morning. Legs permitting, I get to Brighton 8 pm.

Why Donate?
Our club is more than just a sports venue; it’s a place where friendships are forged, skills are honed, and memories are made.
By contributing to our development fund, you’re investing in the future of rugby in our community. Every pound donated goes directly toward improving our facilities, upgrading equipment, and creating a welcoming environment for players of all ages and abilities.

How Can You Help?
Donate: No amount is too small! Whether it’s the cost of a coffee or a more substantial contribution, every penny counts. Visit my donation page here to make a secure online donation.

Spread the Word: Share my fundraising efforts with friends, family, and colleagues. The more people who know about this request, the greater impact we can make.
Business Sponsorship: If you’re a local business owner, consider sponsoring our club. Your logo could feature prominently on our team kits, banners, and website.

Fundraising isn’t just about running marathons or climbing mountains (although kudos to Dan who ran from Lands End to John O’Groats!). It’s about community spirit and coming together to support something we all love. Your contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. It’s like a perfectly executed drop goal—it may not be flashy, but it scores points!

Thank you for being part of our rugby family. Together, we can create lasting memories and ensure that generations to come enjoy the same camaraderie and passion we do today.

Warm regards, Ray
