
We have had our 400 club account with Barclays for many years. Unfortunately our community account was automatically closed last week without notice. As such some members would have had regular payments returned. We apologise for any inconvenience or confusion this caused. We have had ongoing dialogue with Barclays and had been trying to seek clarity about the number of type of officials about which they needed information. In short we were expecting the account to be closed and have lodged a complaint.
Moving forwards, given the importance of the 400 club, we have decided to open a new account with NatWest. We will have to ask members to set up new standing orders, but hope to have everything sorted within a month - and then have some bumper draws!
