All the hard work and commitment in getting teams out each week doesn't go unnoticed, and the 3XV are no exception. This season they have a committed core group of players, following on from Kai Bennett's captaincy and legacy last season. Charlie Kelly as skipper has built on that with the help of manager Gareth Seward (also an ex captain).
After yesterdays win v Sevenoaks, Charlie had this to say;
"Saturday saw us take on Sevenoaks in a 1st v 2nd clash. It was up your jumper rugby weather, resolute defending and some fantastic forward work all round the pitch saw us take a very tough game 17-9.
Puts us 4 points clear of Sevenoaks at the halfway point of the season. It’s been a cracking first half of the season, we’ve played 10 won 8 lost 1 and drawn 1, all the lads have really stepped up to the challenge of Kent counties 5 and we are having a real push for promotion in the second half of the season"
Big thanks to all the supporters that faced storm Darragh yesterday down at the club to cheer the team on in this important win, and all the other weeks!
The 3XV go again next week at home, fixture info to follow as usual on Wednesday on our socials.
